Pineapple Cake
2 C sugar; 2 C flour
2 tsp.soda; 2 eggs beaten
2 ¼ C crushed pineapple
1 tsp.vanilla; ½ C nuts
Combine all ingred. and bake
@350 for 30-35 min.
Cream Cheese Topping: 8 oz.cream cheese
2 C powd.sugar
1 cube butter; ½ C nuts
Mix and spread ½ on cake when
removed from oven; put on balance
when cake is cool.
This is an oldie from my father's company recipe book. It and the German Raw Apple Cake are two of my favorite cakes ever.
